Pumpkin health benefits

Pumpkins are an excellent source of vitamins like A, C and E as well as minerals like iron and potassium. It’s high soluble fibre content also means pumpkin can be useful for firming up your dog’s stools and reducing issues with diarrhoea.

Like with most things in life, you can have too much of a good thing and that applies to pumpkins. Too much fibre in your dog’s diet can lead to bloating, gas and constipation. Pumpkins also have a higher calorie content than over vegetables so it’s best to feed small amounts in moderation as part of a balanced diet.
