Summer is here, so what better time to share our super easy peanut butter and banana pupsicle recipe—guaranteed to put a smile on your dog’s face!
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon of dog-safe peanut butter (xylitol free)
- 1 cup of plain Greek yoghurt (no artificial sweeteners, unsweetened)
- A splash of water
You could also add …
- Your dog’s favourite fruit
- A dog treat to stick into the lolly as a handle
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, blend all ingredients together until smooth. Add a splash of water to blend if needed!
- Pour the mixture into ice cube trays or a silicone mould
- Freeze for 4-5 hours or until solid
- Pop one out and give it to your pet for a special treat on a warm day!
As always, introduce new treats slowly and watch for any signs of an upset stomach, such as gas, vomiting, or diarrhoea. If your dog has any known allergies to the ingredients listed, please avoid this recipe. When in doubt, consult your vet before offering new treats.
