3 Pawfit app features you might not know about

Live tracking, activity monitoring and 24-hour location history – these are all Pawfit features our customers know and love. But the Pawfit app is packed with so much more, including a few features that you might not have discovered yet.

That’s why we’re sharing three of our favourite Pawfit app features you might not know about…

Reactivity tracking

If you have a reactive dog in training, you’ll know how difficult it can be to keep an accurate record of all their reactions when out and about.

That’s why we added a reaction tracker to Pawfit Walk. When you’re out walking your dog and they have a reaction, mark exactly where it happened on the map by choosing from a range of reaction causes, including cats, other dogs and loud noises.

At the end of the walk, you’ll see a report of all the reactions that have taken place and by looking back at previous walk reports, you’ll be able to see patterns in their behaviour and understand their regular triggers. This will give you a better insight into your dog’s behaviour and help you feel better informed in how you can manage it.

Plus, if you’re working with a trainer, you can easily share these walk reports with them directly from the app.

Pawfit badges

Pawfit badges are a fun way to get rewarded for using your tracker and to stay motivated to keep hitting your activity goals.

The more you use your tracker – the more badges you’ll collect. Easy! And whether you have a cat or a dog, there’s special badges just for them.

There’s so many ways your pet can earn Pawfit badges:

  • Reached their activity goal every day for a month? There’s a badge for that.
  • Walked a lifetime total of 1 million steps? There’s a badge for that too!
  • Gone on 25 Pawfit Walks? There’s even a badge for that.

To see how many badges your pet has already earned and what they need to do to achieve even more, head to their pet profile and tap Pawfit Badges.

Live Location Sharing

Losing your pet is an incredibly stressful experience and sometimes it’s all hands-on deck to help you find them quickly and safely.

With Live Location Sharing, you can share your live location with family and friends who are helping you look for your pet and see their live locations too on the Pawfit map.

When locations are shared, it makes it easier for people to coordinate the search and spread out to locate your pet, rather than all being in same spot. Live Location Sharing can also be used in situations where you might become injured or stuck on a walk and need to share your live location with a family member so they can come to your aid.

Let us know if you’ve used any of these Pawfit features before and remember, if you have an idea for a feature that could be added to the app, you can let us know by emailing support@pawfit.com
