Dog friendly banana pancakes recipe –
Ingredients –
- 1 ripe and sweet banana
- 1 egg
- 100g of plain flour
Method –
- Mash the banana with a fork until it’s a smooth consistency.
- Add the egg and flour, beating until the batter is smooth.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan on a medium heat
- If frying, use a small amount of coconut or olive oil. Oil spray is a great option, as only a few drops are needed to grease the pan and prevent sticking.
- Ladle a small amount of mixture into the pan
- Allow to cool, add toppings, and serve!
Topping suggestions –
- Peanut butter – Be sure to avoid peanut butter with xylitol as this can be toxic for dogs
- Banana slices
- Blueberries
- Sliced strawberries
- Their favourite dog treats
- Cheese
