Feeling Lucky on St. Pawtrick’s Day

On St. Patrick’s Day, everyone gets their Irish on for the big celebration with hopes of having lots of luck come their way. For pet families, it’s debatable who is the luckiest to have the other, the pup or the family.  While families are blessed to have a pup, the pups are pretty lucky too.  The rewards are great for both as lots of love is given and received – some may show this with a lick to the face, while others give a good belly rub!

To show your pup some extra love this holiday, why not create a pot of gold scavenger hunt inside or outside for your pup?  Get creative with what your pot of gold could be (maybe a pot filled with treats or a gold-colored plush pet toy).  Leave a trail of treats leading them to their grand prize or play It is a great activity for your pup and entire family with great rewards (entertainment for all and treats!). All the pups in the neighborhood will be green with envy when they see your dog getting jiggy in the backyard looking for their rewards.

Our pups are always our good luck charms throughout the entire year, but don’t leave your pet’s safety to chance or luck.  If your pup is up to his or her usual mischief or St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans, make sure you can find them fast, no matter what they get up to.  A reliable GPS tracker like Pawfit can help pet parents protect their pets and keep them safe and that is no blarney! So, cheers to St. Patrick’s Day, when it is easy being green.  However you choose to spend your day, be sure to include your pup in on the fun.  Feel free to share with us how your pet is celebrating on the Pawfit  Instagram page.
