Santa Paws is making a list and he’s checking it twice … so its time to find out whether your pup has been naughty or nice this year!
Whilst there’s still time for any wayward pups to change their ways, take a look at 5 signs that your pup might have ended up on the naughty list…
1. Sock thieves
In the mysterious realm of missing socks, there is one main culprit – the sock thieves of the canine world. As owners find themselves with missing, unmatched socks, their furry friends sit there with a proud grin knowing they are the guilty party. Pop your dog on the naughty list if they do this!
2. Selective hearing
Selective hearing is a skill mastered by our furry friends. Whether it’s a call to the bath or a visit to the vet they switch on their selective hearing button. Does your pup only listen when they hear the words ‘treat’ or ‘walkies’? If so, that’s another sign they’re on the naughty list this year.
3. Furry vandals
The trees are up, and the decorations are hung, but there’s always that one pup that thinks the tree branches are a chew toy and the baubles are tennis balls. If your dog takes ‘deck the halls’ a bit too seriously then they’re on Santa Paws’ naughty list!
4. Muddy paw mishaps
Every dog owner knows the struggles of finding little (or big) muddy paw prints all over the freshly cleaned floor. If your dog has a talent for finding the muddiest patches of earth and proudly bringing them indoors, they might be a contender for the naughty list.
5. Festive food pinchers
Some of our furry friends are pros at exploring kitchen tops and bins on the hunt for tasty treats and scraps when no one is looking (Especially at Christmas). Whether it’s a full roast dinner or a scrap of meat many dogs can’t resist the temptation to steal some food! If your pup does this, then they’re on Santa’s naughty list!
Here’ at Pawfit HQ, we’ve been lucky enough to have a sneak peak at Santa Paw’s naughty list this year… is your furry friend on there?
